This page explains how users of Lighthouse, the internal operations application for Ground Floor Property Management(“Ground Floor PM”), can request that some or all of their personal data be deleted without deleting their account.
Lighthouse is available at lighthouse.groundfloorpm.com and as a mobile app for authorized Ground Floor PM team members and invited users.
How to request deletion
To request deletion of some or all of your personal data while keeping your account:
- Email support@groundfloorpm.com with the subject line Lighthouse data deletion request.
- Include the email address you use to sign in to Lighthouse, and whether you use the web app, the mobile app, or both.
- Describe what you want deleted (for example: profile phone numbers, AI assistant conversation history, or all personal profile data you are allowed to remove while keeping access).
- We will confirm receipt, verify that the request comes from the account holder, and complete eligible deletions. We typically respond during normal business hours and aim to finish eligible requests within 30 days.
You do not need to delete your Lighthouse account to make this request.
Delete your account in the app
Signed-in users can also delete their Lighthouse account from My Profile → Delete account. This signs you out, blocks future sign-in, and removes personal profile details and connected integrations.
Your display name and photo may still appear faded on past activity (for example updates, notifications, and punch lists) so historical work remains attributable. Operational business records you created are retained as described below.
Data that can be deleted
Upon a verified request, we can delete or remove personal data associated with your user account when it is not required for ongoing business, security, or legal purposes, including:
- Optional profile details such as phone numbers and similar contact fields you added in Lighthouse
- AI assistant conversation history and related personal chat content tied to your account
- Personal preference or notification settings that are not needed to keep your account working
- Other personal content you created solely for your own use in Lighthouse, when it can be removed without breaking shared operational records
Data that may be retained
Some information may be kept even after a partial deletion request, for as long as needed for legitimate business, security, audit, or legal reasons. This may include:
- Core account identifiers needed to keep your account active (such as your user ID and sign-in email), unless you also ask us to close the account
- Operational and property-management records you created or edited in the course of work (for example, maintenance notes, punch lists, walkthrough records, communications, finance uploads, and similar business records)
- Tenant, owner, lease, application, and other customer or property data managed through Lighthouse, which is business data rather than your personal profile data
- Security, authentication, and audit logs (including limited technical information such as IP address or device details where collected by our providers)
- Information we must retain to comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or meet internal retention requirements
Where we retain information, we keep it only for as long as those purposes require. Retention periods vary by record type and legal or operational need. After those periods end, data is deleted or de-identified according to our internal practices.
Account closure
Prefer in-app deletion when possible: open My Profile while signed in and choose Delete account. You can also email support@groundfloorpm.com to request account closure. Closing an account is separate from requesting deletion of specific personal data while remaining a user.
